As a medical oncologist at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), Dr. Bart Scott truly understands the impact of a cancer diagnosis. But for Dr. Scott, treating cancer is not just his career passion, it’s also deeply personal.  After losing his mother to breast cancer while he was in middle school, Dr. Scott was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma at just 22 years old. Dr. Scott’s personal experience with cancer gave life a whole new meaning and led him to do what he does today. His treatment regimen included chemotherapy and radiotherapy developed in clinical trials and he gives credit to other patients who enrolled in clinical trials as part of the reason he is alive and well.
