Become a Sponsor

Patient Power content and programs are made possible in part through the support of sponsoring organizations and companies, which are identified through sponsors’ names disclosed on programs or on our therapeutic center pages. Although sponsors play a key role in enabling Patient Power to serve the cancer community, they are not involved in the selection of the topics covered nor what we say or write. Decisions on such matters are made solely by the Patient Power editorial staff, which is committed to providing objective and balanced content to our visitors.

We welcome all sponsors that share in our mission of providing the latest, most credible, fair and balanced information for patients and people who care about them. If you have interest in sponsoring our efforts, please email us at sponsor@patientpower.info.

Sponsorships can be funded in a variety of ways, including:

Therapeutic Center Sponsorships

Access targeted cancer communities and create awareness and visibility among a community of patients, caregivers and experts about specific cancer topics. All therapeutic center sponsorships include an annual commitment of a variety of video interviews, patient stories, video blogs, community surveys, email alerts, and conference coverage news interviews.

Newsletter Sponsorship

Enhance your sponsorship by participating in our newsletters with sponsored content, or work with us to create a tailored sponsored section for your sponsored programs.

Whether you represent a medical center, government, a pharmaceutical or medical device company we believe there are worthy and appropriate ways for you to support patient education leveraging our growing voice to consumers who are actively seeking the kind of information we provide. Within the last year, Patient Power programs and content, via www.patientpower.info and our distribution partners, have reached millions of people, many of which were patients in the U.S. In 2014 we expect out reach to grow significantly, and we hope you can support that efforts and benefit from it.

Fueling our growth is the use of our syndicated audio/video player loaded with programs and content to a specific patient population. Many advocacy groups are using it as well as distribution partners. We have numerous versions of our content loaded in distinct players that are available through a wide range of websites, e-newsletters, and coming soon, mobile applications.

Advertising / Media Opportunities

In order to further our mission of making reliable cancer information available, where permitted by government regulations, Patient Power accepts advertising under strict guidelines and advertisements are displayed to visitors only as permitted by law. Patient Power offers a range of advertising opportunities from banner ads to sponsorships on our web site. All advertisements are subject to our review and we do not accept any advertisement that we believe is incompatible with our mission. The presence of an ad on our site, in our videos or in our newsletters does not imply endorsement of the advertised company or product. Advertising may be placed on our web site adjacent to content related to the advertiser or sponsor interest, and also may be targeted to users therapeutically. Patient Power maintains a distinct separation between advertising content and editorial content. Editorial control rests solely with the Patient Power editorial team and decisions are based in all circumstances on what is best for patients. All advertising content is clearly labeled as an advertisement. Sponsored areas or content are labeled as such, and the sponsoring organizations are identified. Sponsor a series of videos within our therapeutic centers and receive up to 20-second pre-roll and/or post-roll advertising that can help encourage an already engaged audience to take action.

Advertorial Resource Center

A customized center that is hosted within our therapeutic centers. It also includes media ads within this exclusive section and also at the program level, which creates increased exposure at the therapeutic center level and is necessary for garnering engagement with Patient Power’s audience. It allows the advertising sponsor to leverage their own content to be utilized within this advertorial section and have it featured alongside newly develop editorial programming. Because this approach will include editorial developed that is controlled by Patient Power (i.e. video programming), this will allow for editorial promotion on Patient Power’s home page, exposure through Patient Power’s social media pages (i.e. Facebook, Twitter), YouTube channel, Vimeo and natural traffic.

Market Research and Patient Advisory Board Acquisition

Patient Power regularly conducts surveys of its communities. At our option, we can conduct a survey with questions that we approve provided by a sponsor. Additionally, many members of our community have told us they would be willing to advise healthcare and medical industry organizations on the patient perspective and we can match them with interested sponsors.
