How can doctors and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients get a clear picture of their condition and disease characteristics to make more informed care decisions? What can genetic test results reveal about a patient’s CLL? Join us in Portland on Saturday, May 18 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown for a CLL town meeting to learn more about current approaches to CLL treatment, tools for evaluating disease risk, and guidelines for selecting a suitable course of treatment. Audience members will hear from a dynamic panel of renowned experts, including Dr. Jeff Sharman and Dr. Jeffrey Menashe. The expert panel will focus on which tests are critical in understanding disease behavior, identifying prognostic markers, and how research on genetic expression can influence treatment decision-making.

The town meeting will feature a live Q&A session, giving patients and care partners an opportunity to interact directly with researchers to voice questions about CLL. Send questions in advance to CLL@patientpower.info.The in-person audience will also get the chance to meet with others living with CLL to share stories and coping strategies.

Register now to learn more about:

  • Tests recommended prior to treatment
  • The role of genetic testing in CLL care
  • Prognostic factors that go into forming a treatment plan
