Suman Kambhampati, MD

Dr. Suman Kambhampati, MD, is board-certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology. He is the Clinical Program Director for the Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Kambhampati treats patients affected by blood cancers and complex hematology issues. He has led or participated in multiple cancer research studies and published numerous professional papers. Dr. Kambhampati currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Sarah Cannon Blood Cancer Network (SCBCN) Quality Management Committee on Complex Blood Cancers and is involved with teaching and training of trainees at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where he serves as a staff physician. He is Principal Investigator with the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), an affiliate of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and leads efforts at VA to enroll patients into SWOG/NCI-sponsored clinical trials.
