Samantha Trahan is a guest blogger for Patient Power. She is a practicing lawyer in Texas and has been managing both her professional life and her MPN for over a decade. Each can be demanding of time and energy, and they often compete for attention. Some days require her full concentration on legal issues, leaving no room for MPN interference. She devotes other days to researching new MPN drugs or taking time off to ease the burden of living with a chronic cancer. Samantha remains convinced that the future holds a cure. And until then, she plans to make the most of each day.
