Lisa Ovesen, MSN, APRN

Lisa Ovesen is a Nurse Practitioner at OHC (Oncology Hematology Care) in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a former trauma nurse in an Intensive Care Unit, Lisa was recruited to work in the hospital’s oncology department for procedures. It was during this time that Lisa discovered a passion for caring for medical oncology and hematology patients. She was especially drawn to direct patient care after seeing family members and friends who battled cancer.

Lisa’s areas of special interest include hematology, holistic therapies, and palliative care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, tending her small flock of chickens, Girl Scouts, spending time with family and a close-knit group of friends she has had for many years.

Lisa received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Lisa cares for patients at OHC Eastgate and OHC Maysville.
