John Ratzenberger

John Ratzenberger is a lung cancer patient and caregiver advocate. In 2010, his wife, Sara, was diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer at the age of 31. Over the next two-and-a-half years, Sara and John found hope and courage through patient organizations, such as LUNGevity Foundation, as she met other survivors and saw the importance of funding quality research, education and support. Sara passed away in 2012. John has continued to be very active in the lung cancer community providing support, consulting services and leading informational sessions for caregivers through volunteerism and fundraising.
