Joel Nowak, MA, MSW

Joel Nowak is a five-time cancer survivor including advanced prostate cancer. He is a respected patient-advocate and Director of Advanced Prostate Cancer Programs and Advocacy at Malecare, a not-for-profit group devoted to men with prostate cancer, their caregivers and partners. Joel also serves on the Integration Panel of the Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program, as a designated Prostate Cancer Expert for the American Urologic Association (AUA), and as a Patient Research Mentor for the American Association of Cancer Researchers (AACR) Scientist-Survivor Program. He is an author, advocate, educator and inspirational speaker.
