Professor; Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck OncologyThe University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer CenterDr. George Simon is a professor in the Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology in the Division of Cancer Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He received his MD from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and he completed fellowships in oncology and hematology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Simon is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. He has had numerous articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has received several professional awards including The Burtschy Family Endowed Chair in Cancer Research among others.
