Dr. Christopher D’Angelo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine, Chicago, IL. He then went on to do internal medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Following this, he attended the University of Wisconsin for his post-graduate certificate in Fundamentals of Clinical Research.

He has authored or co-authored numerous articles, book chapters and abstracts. He has also presented his research at several national meetings and was awarded the UNMC Department of Medicine Scientist Development Award 2021. He has also served as an expert reviewer for a number of scientific journals. He is currently involved in clinical research related to microbiome and dietary intake in patients with CLL.
