Al-Ola Abdallah, MD

Dr. Abdallah currently serves as Director of Plasma Cell Disorder Clinic for the Division of Hematological Malignancies and Cellular Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center and has worked in the plasma cell disorder field since 2016. Recently he was also appointed as Kansas University Health system Educational Medical Director for the division. Dr. Abdallah studied hematology/oncology at University of Arkansas Medical School (UAMS) and then served as hematology faculty at University of Kansas since 2016. He has served as a principal investigator (PI) on many investigator-initiated and pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials. His research interests are in multiple myeloma, smoldering myeloma, amyloidosis, immunotherapy and CAR-T cell for myeloma, with a focus on improving outcomes especially in patients with high-risk subsets of plasma cell dyscrasias.
