Ahmet Bachat, M.D.

Associate Professor, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences
Dr. Baschat is an associate professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and went on to complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Baschat was a fellow in maternal and fetal medicine at the University of Maryland. He is an expert in the management and treatment of twin to twin transfusion syndrome and has managed a wide spectrum of complications specific to monochorionic pregnancies.
