Wayne Sticha: Prostate Cancer Survivor Turned Advocate

Nearly 250,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. In this interview, produced in partnership with PatientsLikeMe, Wayne Sticha shares his personal story of surviving prostate cancer and how he's using his learnings to help others. Discovering that many of his friends knew nothing about prostate cancer, Wayne organized annual “Ride for Dads,” an annual motorcycle ride forming community and awareness about prostate cancer, now three years strong. Wayne is also an active member of PatientsLikeMe, a free online community where patients can connect and share their stories.
