With rapid diagnostics, a "palette of clinical trials" and a team approach with community oncologists all at his fingertips, Dr. Mauro says it is a joy to see his patients in clinic, to offer them the best care possible and to see them living well with CML long term.

Dr. Michael Mauro is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Oregon Health Science University. He received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire and went on to complete his residency at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center. Dr. Mauro’s clinical focus is leukemia, with a particular interest in CML.
