Marcia Hirst, 52, of Everett, WA. lives with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), an autoimmune disease which affects the central nervous system. A wife and the mother of 11 children, she is an active member of the PatientsLikeMe online community where she gains knowledge to support her own health and helps support others. More than 28,000 patients are in MS community on PatientsLikeMe, a free online community where patients can connect with others to share information and learn from one another.
