Inspiration and Treatment About Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis
|
|||||||||
Get Your Guts in Gear is sponsoring two Patient Power programs to keep patients informed and educated about Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis (collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease or “IBD”), both from a medical standpoint and from the perspective of patients who are active in the IBD community. The first program features Jay Pacitti, Director of Get Your Guts in Gear, and his doctor, New York City gastroenterologist Tony Weiss, M.D. You'll hear about the rides that take place around the country and learn the latest about IBD.The second program will spotlight riders and crew on this year’s Central Texas ride, along with expert commentary from Dr. Weiss. Riders will join Andrew and Dr. Weiss to share their inspiring personal stories and their excitement at the end of the first day. You'll also hear updates from riders at the conclusion of the event - this perspective is truly unmatched. Learn about the accomplishments and success of this all-too-important ride, and how it's impacting the IBD community, research, and overall hope for patients. These programs are available as replays for downloading, streaming and podcasting.
