Dr. Jason Weisstein is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is a member of the Tumor Service of UW Medicine Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Weisstein graduated valedictorian from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York and completed his residency at the University of California San Francisco, followed by fellowship training in orthopaedic oncology at the University of Washington. As an orthopaedic surgeon practicing at University of Washington Medical Center, Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Dr. Weisstein specializes in treating bone and soft tissue cancer and has a particular interest in limb salvage, metastatic bone disease and the epidemiology of sarcomas. He also serves as co-director of Northwest Tissue Service and is a member of the Sarcoma Service, a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, and oncology nurses.
