 Dr. Peter Roy-Byrne is Chief of Psychiatry at Harborview Medical Center and Director of the Harborview Center for Healthcare Improvement for Addictions, Mental Illness and Medically Vulnerable Populations (CHAMMP). Dr. Roy-Byrne is also Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and went on to complete a residency in Psychiatry at the University of California Los Angeles Neuropsychiatric Institute. Dr. Roy-Byrne is board certified in psychiatry.
