Lymphomas account for about five percent of all cases of cancer in the United States, and it is the most common form of blood cancer. It affects many people, which is why it is important to know about the latest treatments and news related to this disease. In this first edition of Patient Power’s Special Edition Lymphoma Series, Dr. Julie Vose joins Andrew Schorr to discuss news from the latest American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting and the Pan Pacific Lymphoma Conference. Dr. Vose is professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska’s Hematology and Oncology Section and a renowned expert in Lymphoma.
