Ask the Expert About the Latest Myeloma News

Greetings from Patient Power®! We’re excited about another webcast in our Special Edition Lymphoma Series. This one-hour discussion will feature a leading expert’s opinion on the latest in lymphoma news and treatment. You’ll hear about the importance of getting an accurate lymphoma diagnosis, the latest news in combination therapies, the effectiveness of radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies and the appropriate use of stem cell transplant for selected patients. Dr. James Armitage from the University of Nebraska Medical Center will be on hand to answer your questions. The webcast will air live here on Wednesday, March 26th for one hour beginning at 5 p.m. Eastern, 2 p.m. Pacific.

Dr. James Armitage is the Joe Shapiro Professor of Medicine in the Oncology/Hematology Section at University of Nebraska Medical Center and a renowned expert in the field of lymphoma. Dr. Armitage founded the bone marrow transplant program at University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1983.

We like these programs to be interactive so please submit a question now or during the program. While we cannot answer every question or give personal medical guidance on the webcast, your questions help highlight topics that are important to many people.

Details for how to attend Wednesday’s webcast can be found at the Lymphoma Special Edition page. On the day of the program check this page for a link to the LIVE audio. This is also where the replay will be posted. During the program we’ll give out phone numbers where you can call in with questions. Please note, however that this program is NOT available via teleconference but only online.

The previous three informative webcasts from the Lymphoma series are available as replays and transcripts at www.patientpower.info. We are eager to answer as many questions as possible. Please tell others about this important program and Patient Power and our vast library of cancer programs.

In other exciting news, we’re pleased to have the Lymphoma Foundation of America join Patient Power as a partner!

We look forward to having you listen!

Thanks,

Andrew and the Patient Power Team
