Winston J. Warme, M.D.
Dr. Winston J. Warme is Chief of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the University of Washington where he also serves as Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Warme attended medical school at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and went on to complete an internship at Brooke Army Medical Center followed by a residency at Madigan Army Medical Center Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program. He then completed the John A. Feagin West Point Sports Medicine Fellowship and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine Traveling Fellowship. Dr. Warme joined the UW faculty after retiring from a career in the U.S. Army, where he began as an enlisted Special Forces medic and finished as a colonel in the Medical Corps. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
