Dr. William Chapman is professor of surgery in the division of general surgery, and chief of the Abdominal Transplantation Section at Washington University. He received his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina followed by a residency and fellowship at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Dr. Chapman went on to complete a fellowship in hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation at Kings College Hospital in London, England. He specializes in liver disease, liver transplant, and surgical imaging.
