Multiple Myeloma Patient

Una went on a backpacking trip where she injured herself. After the pain persisted, Una made a visit to the doctor, where she had several tests that indicated there was a more serious problem. Una was later diagnosed with multiple myeloma. After some research, she visited the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and saw a myeloma specialist, where she was later placed in a clinical trial combining various agents. These agents worked quite well for Una, allowing her to return to her normal way of life.
