Dr. Anthony Weiss is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology in 1993 at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he served as the first Burrill Crohn Research Fellow. He is an assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he has served as the Associate Director of the Gastroenterology Training Program, Director of the Gastroenterology Clinic and Director of Regulatory Affairs for the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Weiss practice interests includes general gastroenterlogy and liver disease with a special focus in inflammatory Bowel diseases. Dr. Weiss has conducted and published research in the areas of colon cancer screening and assessing outcomes of various treatments for inflammatory bowel disease.
