Dr. Beer is Associate Professor of Medicine, at Oregon Health & Science University Cancer Institute. He is also the Grover C. Bagby Endowed Chair for Cancer Research and Director of the Prostate Cancer Research Program. Dr. Beer's major research interests include clinical trials, preclinical investigation, and risk factors in prostate cancer. As an author and co-author of numerous articles and abstracts on prostate cancer, Dr. Beer is at the forefront of prostate cancer research. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed his residency at OHSU.
