Dr. Kosten is a Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine, and also serves as Research Director of the Veterans Association National Substance Use Disorders Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QUERI). Dr. Kosten’s many accomplishments include founding the Division of Substance abuse at Baylor and at Yale University (where he previously taught), receiving the Research Scientist Award from the National Institute of Health, serving on review groups both in the U.S. and abroad for medications development in substance abuse, and serving in the House of Representatives as a Congressional Fellow.
