Dr. Dews is a graduate of the University of Toledo and of the Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Dews performed her residency in anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Also at Cleveland Clinic, she completed a fellowship in Pain Management. Currently she is the medical director of Pain Management at Cleveland Clinic’s Hillcrest Hospital. Prior to this position she served as the Director of the Outpatient Pain Management Center Operations. As a member of the Anesthesiology Institute, Dr. Dews is also the Quality Review Officer for the Cleveland Clinic Department of Pain Management; she is committed to physician and medical student education in Pain Management, and takes an active role in both. Published in several national scientific journals, she has written on many topics, and has a special interest in optimization of function and wellness in pain management as well as medication management. Dr. Dews has been recognized as one of Northern Ohio Live’s “Top Doctors”, selected as a member of Kaleidoscope magazine’s “Forty Club” and inducted into Cleveland Heights High School’s Alumni Hall of Fame. Active in many professional organizations, Dr. Dews in a member of: American Pain Society, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, International Spine Injection Society, National Association of Medical Minority Educators, National Medical Association and the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists
