Dr. Chugh is a clinical cardiologist and specialist in the treatment of patients with heart rhythm disorders. His expertise is in the technique of radiofrequency ablation and surgical implantation as well as follow-up of defibrillators, pacemakers and biventricular pacemakers. He currently serves as the Section Chief of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at OHSU. He also directs the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center at OHSU, where mechanisms of heart rhythm disorders are investigated, with a special focus on fatal heart rhythms that lead to sudden death.
