Stephan Stilgenbauer, M.D.
Dr. Stephan Stilgenbauer is Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology, Oncology, Rheumatology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Ulm, Germany. He received his medical training at Ruprecht-Karls Universität Heidelberg Medical School, Germany with electives in Hamilton, Canada; Jerusalem, Israel; Bath, UK and Cambridge, UK. He went on to complete his final year at the Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, USA. His research is focused on the investigation of molecular factors in pathogenesis, prognosis and treatment of CLL and other lymphomas. Dr. Stilgenbauer has authored or coauthored numerous original articles, reviews and book chapters in journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood, Leukemia, Oncogene, and Haematologica.
