Dr. Stan Rogers is Director of the Bariatric Surgery Center and Director of the Liver Tumor Ablation Program at UCSF Medical Center. He also serves as assistant professor of surgery at UCSF, where he supervises residents and fellows.  Dr. Rogers earned his medical degree at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and completed an internship, residency and fellowship in surgery at UCSF, before joining the faculty in 1999. Dr. Rogers is certified by the American Board of Surgery.  He is also a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Surgeons, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
