Dr. Stanley Katz is Chairman of the Department of Cardiology and Senior Vice President of Cardiovascular Services. Dr. Katz received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town Medical School in South Africa and was trained in Cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Upon completion of his training in 1978 he joined the faculty of Long Island Jewish Medical Center. His field of expertise is interventional cardiology with a special interest in acute myocardial infarction intervention.
