Scott Ramsey, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Scott Ramsey is Director of the Cancer Prevention Clinic at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and went on to complete an internship and residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. He also received a doctorate degree in Health Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ramsey's primary research interest is in studying the economic aspects of new medical technologies. He serves on the Faculty of the School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, and the Institute for Public Health Genetics at the University of Washington. Dr. Ramsey frequently lectures throughout the country on topics related to cost-effectiveness in medicine.
