Dr. Bloom is Medical Director and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and his clinical interests include hepatitis C in kidney disease and transplantation, kidney and pancreas transplantation and kidney disease in solid organ transplant recipients.

Dr. Bloom received his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, International Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation.
