Ronni Maestas
Since 1994 Ronni has battled lymphoma. Her fight with Hodgkin’s Disease has included a dozen surgeries, radiation, chemo, different chemo, bone marrow transplant, clinical trial, more chemo and finally a clinical trial bone marrow transplant in 2005. Her transplant was a haploidentical transplant using stem cells from her sister, Vicki, and was performed at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. She’s been cancer-free since then. To quote Ronni, “I honestly believe 100% that if I had not gone to Seattle for the transplant I would not be here today.” Since that time Ronni has started her own website to help others that have been diagnosed with cancer, learn more at www.introtocancer.com.
