Dr. Ronald Levy is a professor of medicine and chief of the Division of Oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Levy attended medical school at Stanford University followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He went on to complete fellowships at Stanford University Medical Center and The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. His research efforts have focused on the treatment of lymphoma. Dr. Levy is most widely known for inventing a drug that has revolutionized the treatment of many types of cancer, Rituxan. In 2009, Dr. Levy was honored with the King Faisal International Prize in Medicine.
