Dr. Ronald Maier is Surgeon-In-Chief at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington and is the Jane and Donald D. Trunkey Endowed Chair in Trauma Surgery at the University of Washington. Dr. Maier received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in North Carolina followed by an internship at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed a residency at the University of Washington and went on to a fellowship in Immunopathology at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation. Dr. Maier’s clinical interests are in trauma and surgical critical care and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is board certified in general surgery.
