Dr. Robert Brophy is Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Medicine. Dr. Brophy earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Washington University. He went on to complete his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellowship in Shoulder/Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Brophy serves as team physician for the St. Louis Rams football team and St. Louis Blues hockey team. His special areas of clinical interests include cartilage and ligament injuries, injury prevention and treatment in soccer players, and shoulder disorders.
