Lung Cancer Survivor

In 2008, after suffering from a chronic cough for over a year, Randy Broad of Kirkland, Wash. was diagnosed with Stage 3a lung cancer. A non-smoker, he was in shock. A doctor told him to put his affairs in order.  But treatment proved effective and gave Randy the chance to celebrate life with world travels and unforgetable visits with family and friends. Randy offers advice on how to celebrate each day after a cancer diagnosis.


Randy Broad is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and business founder. He wrote the book based on his experience titled “It’s an Extraordinary Life, Don’t Miss it.”  He speaks and shares his background on the subject of Work/Life Balance and its necessity in everyday life. As a cancer survivor, he realizes that living your life as if you have cancer is not just a phrase but the mindset that transforms each day into the extraordinary.
