Dr. Halkitis is Associate Dean for Research and Doctoral Studies at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, & Human Development. His work includes conducting research to help improve HIV/AIDS patients’ lives and educating the public about HIV/AIDS issues. Dr. Halkitis received his Ph.D. in psychology and master’s degree in social work from the City University of New York.
