Dr. Nancy Kadel is an orthopaedic surgeon and associate professor of clinical orthopaedics at the UCSF Medical Center. As a former dancer and dance teacher, Dr. Kadel specializes specializing in foot and ankle surgery and dance injuries. She focuses in medical and surgical care with rehabilitation, education and research to improve dance injury diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Dr. Kadel received her medical degree from the University of Washington followed by a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency program. She then went on to complete a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Boston Foot and Ankle Center at New England Baptist Hospital.
