Dr. Roizen is the Chief Wellness Officer for Cleveland Clinic, the first such position in a major healthcare institution in the United States. Dr. Roizen also serves as Chairman of the Wellness Institute at Cleveland Clinic. In addition to his long list of accomplishments, Dr. Roizen is the cofounder and chair of the RealAge, Inc. Scientific Advisory Board. He has given over 1,400 lectures to professional medical groups and has been recognized with over 20 professional lectureships. He has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, CNN, CBS, Good Morning America and the list goes on. His wife is a developmental pediatrician also listed in the Best Doctors in America. He and his wife are avid CAVs fans. The Roizens have two children: Jenny, a recent Williams graduate and PhD graduate student at California Institute of Technology, and Jeffrey, an MD/PhD student at Washington University.
