Matthew Blessing, M.D.
Dr. Matthew Blessing received his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Blessing now works in pediatrics at the UW Medicine Kent/Des Moines Neighborhood Clinic. He has his board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics. His patient care philosophy is to empower parents and older patients to be active decision-makers in all care plans. Dr. Blessing says, “I try to provide guidance rather than be overly directives regarding long-term health issues. My biggest passions in medicine are adolescent medicine, injury prevention, prevention of child abuse and sickle cell anemia.”
