Marshall Brumer
Marshall Brumer is married with two children. He was living a busy lifestyle with his career – traveling almost 50% of the time and eating out for most of that time. Mr. Brumer’s doctor was recommending that he lose weight, exercise more, and eat better. After a number of years, trying for a short time, then giving up. In his 2004, physical his doctor noted that his cholesterol was elevated and tests showed potential heart issues. The following year, he had all of the same issues but they had worsened. They then found a blockage in his arteries. During a surgical procedure, his heart stopped and he was revived. After that, Marshall was forced to change his lifestyle through diet, exercise, and stress reduction. He has since lost 80 lbs and exercises 5 days a week for 90 minutes. Marshall also stopped working for one year. He is doing well today and feels calmer and more involved in his family life.
