Lyndon Carter was diagnosed with end stage renal disease at the age of 25. He had three kidney transplants. The firs one failed. The second one lasted five years until he had to begin dialysis again. He was on dialysis for four years and, during that time, began volunteering and reading more about his condition. Lyndon also became a part of advocacy groups and was able to help others. He had a third transplant in 2007 and is more focused and driven than ever before. Today, Lyndon is thriving and living well.
