Lynda Cook Gannon, LCSW, is a social worker in the Hematology and Blood and Marrow Program of Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. She is also in private practice in Tampa. Prior to her current positions, she worked as a social worker at Memorial HealthCare System, Jackson Memorial Medical Center, and institutions. She was also an instructor at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and a volunteer and trainer with the United States Peace Corps.

Ms. Gannon was educated at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, and the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She has delivered several presentations to various audiences on topics in Social Work. She has earned several professional awards, including the Moffitt Cancer Center BMT Social Worker of the Year, the Holtz Children's Hospital Children's Champ award, and Jackson Memorial's Social Worker of the Year Team Award.
