Lisa Sanders, M.D.
Dr. Lisa Sanders is a physician and teacher at the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Sanders is also well known for her work as the writer of the Diagnosis column in The New York Times Magazine and as a Technical Advisor on the Fox television show House M.D. She also recently published her third book titled Every Patient Tells a Story: Medical Mysteries and the Art of Diagnosis.
She received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and went on to pursue medicine after some time as journalist. Sanders attended Columbia University’s Post-Baccalaureate Premedical program and earned her doctorate from the Yale School of Medicine.
