Lisa Newman, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Newman is the Medical Director at University of Michigan Medical Center’s Breast Care Center, as well as an Associate Professor of Surgery at UM. She has received a master’s degree in public health from Harvard University, in addition to completing medical school and residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. Dr. Newman conducts research in several areas, including ethnicity-related variation in breast cancer risk, broadened applications for induction chemotherapy, and evaluation and management of high-risk patients.
