Laura Pickler, M.D.
Clinical Genetics and Metabolism
The Children's Hospital, Aurora, Colorado

Dr. Laura Pickler is a board certified family physician with an active primary care practice serving children, youth, and young adults with special health care needs. She also has completed two fellowships in Child Development and Clinical Genetics and Metabolism and additionally provides consultative care in these fields. This training has poised her to take a lead role in implementing medical homes for children and adults underserved in the community. She understands first hand the challenges of providing comprehensive, coordinated care that creatively works with diverse family dynamics. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Pickler has prior experience in public health as well as academic research. She is also the faculty sponsor for the University of Colorado School of Medicine Developmental Disabilities Interest Group and featured speaker in the third year medical student curriculum.
