Dr. Smith-Whitley is associate professor of the Sickle Cell Clinical Program and clinical director in the division of hematology at the Children Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Smith-Whitley received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed residency at Children's National Medical Center. Her special interests include: sickle cell disease, bone marrow failure and general hematology.
