Karen Syrjala, Ph.D.
Co-Director, Survivorship Program
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance
Dr. Syrjala is a clinical psychologist at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, where she serves as Director of Behavioral Sciences and Co-Director of the Survivorship Program at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She focuses on helping people recognize their strengths and take charge of their health during treatment and long-term survival. Dr. Syrjala received her Ph.D. from Boston University and completed a fellowship in pain and behavioral medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center.
